About the Brand

Ziu by Shivangi Khosla is a contemporary women’s wear label focused on modern silhouettes, refined detailing, and a minimal-luxe aesthetic. As a growing design studio, we work closely across design, production, and digital storytelling to build a strong and recognizable brand presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Fashion Designer who is creatively strong, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of both design and production processes. This role requires close collaboration with the founder and studio team, along with active involvement in shaping the brand’s visual and social media presence. The ideal candidate will balance creativity with execution and thrive in a hands-on, fast-growing studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development
• Design and develop seasonal collections in line with the brand’s aesthetic and vision
• Create detailed design sheets including silhouettes, measurements, fabric details, trims, and finishes
• Research trends, fabrics, and techniques relevant to contemporary women’s wear
• Assist in styling and conceptualising shoots for collections

Production & Execution
• Manage the complete production cycle from sampling to final output
• Coordinate with master tailors, karigars, and vendors to ensure quality and timelines
• Supervise fittings, alterations, and approvals
• Maintain production schedules and follow up regularly to ensure timely deliveries
• Ensure consistency in fit, finish, and workmanship across all garments

Brand & Social Media Support
• Collaborate on content ideas for Instagram and digital platforms
• Provide creative inputs for styling, product presentation, and shoot concepts
• Support brand visibility initiatives through visual storytelling
• Work closely with the marketing team or founder to align designs with digital strategy

Studio Coordination
• Assist in day-to-day studio operations related to design and production
• Maintain design documentation, sample records, and collection details
• Support coordination between design, production, and sales teams

Requirements & Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production techniques
• Experience in women’s wear design is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Comfort working in a small, growing studio environment
• Understanding of Instagram aesthetics, fashion content, and branding is an added advantage
