Monitor and operate computer systems and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and external drives.
Oversee batch processing and ensure all scheduled jobs are completed on time.
Identify and troubleshoot system errors, hardware malfunctions, or software problems to maintain system efficiency.
Perform data entry tasks, manage backups, and ensure the integrity and security of stored data.
Follow operational procedures and work instructions for smooth computer operations.
Coordinate with IT personnel to ensure timely system maintenance and upgrades.
Log all technical issues and solutions in daily reports for record-keeping and future reference.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize processing speed.
Assist users with system-related queries and offer basic technical support.
Ensure the system is secure by monitoring unauthorized access and performing regular security checks.
Generate reports and provide documentation on system performance or any issues encountered.

Key responsibilities:

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills to liaise with team members and provide system support.
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays if required.
Familiarity with hardware maintenance, server environments, and database management is a plus.
