Now, it is very much clear that we use \u2018have\u2019 for showing possession.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018Have\u2019 is used for eating; as,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example: I have (eat) my lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have (eat) your lunch?<\/p>\n<p>It is pretty clear from above two sentences that we can use \u2018have\u2019 for eating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The auxiliary \u2018have\u2019 is used in the formation of present tenses; as,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example: I have learned this chapter.<\/p>\n<p>They have done their work.<\/p>\n<p>Both the sentences talk about the action which has done in the near past.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018Have to\u2019 is used with the infinitive to indicate obligation; as,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have to be there by five o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n<p>He has to move the furniture himself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the above two sentences \u2018have to\u2019 is used for showing obligation in a specific situation in present tense.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The past form \u2018had to\u2019 is used to express obligation in the past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I had to be there by five o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n<p>He had to move the furniture himself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the above two sentences \u2018had to\u2019 is used for showing obligation in a specific situation in past tense.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hidden use of verb &ndash; &ldquo;Have&rdquo; The usage of &ldquo;have&rdquo; &lsquo;Have&rsquo; is used for possession; as, For example: I have (own) a pen.
